The main functions and objectives of the Halal Center of Universitas Islam Riau are to serve as a center for empowerment, research, and services related to product halalness, as well as services in accordance with Islamic law (Sharia). Its objectives include supporting the provision of halal product assurance in Indonesia, ensuring a sense of security for Muslim consumers, and contributing to the development of the national halal industry.
